SOUND INSTALLATION AND PERFORMANCE: CONNECTING PLACE AND PEOPLE

Electronic musician Koshiro Hino, known for his solo project YPY and the rhythm ensemble goat, has conceived a special sonic environment for the AWT Bar in response to landscape architect Eiko Tomura’s organic design of the space. As an extension of that sonic environment, percussionist Manami Kakudo and sound artist Julia Shortreed will present a series of site-specific performances in the space.

Koshiro Hino’s sound installation is available to experience throughout regular AWT Bar hours.
