TOMO KOIZUMI X CONTEMPORARY DANCE
Fashion designer Tomotaka Koizumi, founder of the label Tomo Koizumi, and choreographer/dancer Rina Mizumura collaborate for this performance at AWT Bar. Also active as an artist, Koizumi works at the intersections of art and fashion. Mizumura has appeared as a dancer in numerous music videos and has extensive experience choreographing live events. She will integrate Tomo Koizumi’s clothes into her performance at the AWT Bar, which will also respond to the organic design of the bar space by landscape architect Eiko Tomura.

About Tomotaka Koizumi
Tomotaka Koizumi was born in 1988 in Chiba. He launched his own label, Tomo Koizumi, in 2011. He held his debut fashion show during New York Fashion Week in 2019. In 2021 he designed singer Misia’s gown for the national anthem at the opening ceremony of the Tokyo Olympics. The same year he also won the Mainichi Fashion Grand Prix. Koizumi held his first art exhibition at Yukikomizutani in 2023. His clients include Lady Gaga, Sam Smith, and Björk.
About Rina Mizumura
Rina Mizumura is a dancer and choreographer who also works across multiple fields of expression, from art to culture and fashion. She has contributed her dancing and choreography to numerous live performances, and fashion shows and also works as a model.
